Every month a new issue of First Break
First Break is the leading geoscience publication. It is EAGE's monthly magazine featuring industry news, technical articles, special topics and EAGE news. For more information, please refer to the Journal Overview on the EAGE website or go directly to the website of First Break.

Free online subscription to one of EAGE's scientific journals
In addition to First Break, EAGE offers a free online subscription to one of it's scientific journals: Geophysical Prospecting, Petroleum Geoscience, Near Surface Geophysics and Basin Research. Please refer to the Journal Overview for more information.

Discount on additional journal subscriptions
When applying for EAGE membership, you can indicate if you would like to benefit from the attractive discounts on journal subscriptions (online and / or print). The following discounted rates apply. Please note that a print subscription is only possible in combination with the online subscription. Keep in mind that one online subscription is included in your membership fee.

Example:
If you include the online subscription of Geophysical Prospecting in your membership (free of charge), you pay an additional fee of € 35 to receive the printed version. If you do not include the online subscription in your membership, the fee for the printed version will be € 45 (online + print).

Access to EarthDoc, EAGE's online geoscience database
Since EarthDoc's launch in March 2007, the online database has grown rapidly. It contains well around 45,000 papers spread over +200 events. Coverage of events goes back as far as 1982 and up to 2012 and is still growing. Abstracts from EAGE events are always published two weeks prior to the event. EAGE members have free access to EarthDoc. For non-members, this service is available on a subscription basis.

Member discount at the online EAGE bookshop
The online bookshop of EAGE contains over 500 titles and new books are added everyday. EAGE members receive attractive discount on all titles. The EAGE Bookshop showcases and sells its own publications and those of reputable publishing houses such as Cambridge University Press, Editions Technip, Elsevier and others. Free access to online learning through Learning Geoscience website
For a complete overview of all learning provided through EAGE Education and more, please go to the Learning Geoscience website. EAGE members have free access to a broad offer of online learning: e-courses and e-lectures.

Access to Members Only webpage (including member search)
All EAGE members have access to the Membership only section on the EAGE website. This section includes an extensive member search that allows members to find each other and get in touch. Members will get a login name and can choose a password in order to access this part of the EAGE website.
