Regional Manager: Raymond Cahill
EAGE has been an active player in the Middle East since the opening of our regional office in Dubai (July 2006) and has become an integral part of the local geoscience and engineering community in the region. Over 14 events were organized in seven countries and attended by almost 2,000 oil and gas professionals. The regional newsletter provides an excellent opportunity to inform our members of the growth of activities in this region.

Newsletter Russia & CIS top of the page
For many years, EAGE has been an important player in this region, starting with the opening of our regional office in Moscow (March 2006). Since then, many events have been organized including the biennial Saint Petersburg conference & exhibition attended by over 900 geoscientists. Local representatives have recently been appointed to support EAGE activities in various countries. The newsletter will devote special attention to emerging new regions such as Kazakhstan and Turkmenistan.

In June 2010 EAGE opened an office in Kuala Lumpur, representing EAGE's commitment to meet the needs of its members in the Asia Pacific region. This region is of growing importance, especially as far as oil and gas E&P activities are concerned.
