As a speaker for the conference there are some things that you need to take into account. Both for the oral and poster presentations we have created seperate speaker instruction that you are required to read and adhere to for your presentation.
Please find below the speaker instructions and the PowerPoint template for oral presentations. Read through the instructions carefully so that you are well prepared for the oral presentation. Please use the PowerPoint template below for your presentation slides.
During the Geomechanics and Energy Workshop this year we give each poster the opportunity to (quickly) introduce his/her poster to the audience. The better you "sell" your poster during this introduction by peaking the interest of the audience, the more attention your poster will receive during the actual poster session.
Please note that for the introduction of your poster you only have 3 minutes maximum. This time will be strictly adhered to.
In preparing your introduction, try to keep the information short and meaningfull and do not discuss too much detail. Practise your timing in advance so that you can keep your 3 minute introduction in the set time.
For this introduction you are also required to send the poster introduction slide to email@example.com before 21 September 2015.
Use the template below for this introduction slide and read the poster speaker instructions for more information on the requirements. Do not add any slides and do not add any bullet points. Use the three given bullet points and put keywords there that support what you are saying.
Without an introduction slide you will not be able to give your poster introduction, so please send us the slide before the above mentioned deadline.
Please find below the speaker instructions for poster presentation and the PowerPoint template for the poster introduction slide:
