The goal of the workshop is to discuss techniques and workflows for the characterization of fractures and for evaluation of stress deviator and paleo-strain features. The construction of fractured geological and reservoir models is based on the integration of different types of information such as well data, geological rules from outcrops observations, geo-mechanical modeling, production data and seismic data.
Although a large part of the program will devoted to the analysis of seismic data, in particular azimuthal anisotropy, we will also discuss tools and methods for integrating measurements and concepts from each disciplinary. The geological excursion will be the occasion for participants to visualize fractures both in platform carbonate and pelagic ones in a beautiful environment.
