Geobaykal 2012

The European Association of Geoscientists and Engineers (EAGE) will run the 2nd International GEOBAIKAL 2012 Research and Application Conference on Electromagnetic Research Methods and Integrated Geophysical Data Interpretation, which shall be held at Lake Baikal on 20-24 August 2012. The forthcoming conference is geared towards specialists whose areas of interest include theory, instruments, software, and practical implementation of electromagnetic methods, as well as Integrated Geophysical Data Interpretation.

Geobaikal 2012 includes a scientific program, field trips and field demonstration of equipment in the Minor Sea area of Baikal

The Geobaikal 2012 conference will consist of two parts. The scientific part of the event will take place in the conference halls of Irkutsk. After the scientific part, all participants will be involved in geological and archaeological field trips in the Minor Sea area of Lake Baikal and will have a chance to learn about new geophysical equipment and test it during field demonstrations.
