Tirana has been chosen to host the 7th Congress of the Balkan Geophysical Society (BGS).

The 7th Congress of BGS is the largest and most comprehensive geophysical event in the Balkan region. The three day programme consists of a large conference and a technical exhibition presenting the latest development in applications of geophysics in geology, reservoir/petroleum, mining, seismology, geothermal energy, engineering and environmental domains in the Balkan region.
