Konstantin KuninOn behalf of the Programme Committee, I would like to invite you to participate in the 15th International Annual Scientific Conference on geological exploration and development of gas and oil fields Geomodel 2013 that will take place on 9-12 September in Gelendzhik, Russia.

Over the past fifteen years the Russian oil and gas geology and geophysics landscape has changed a lot: there were many merges of companies and divisions of scientific and technical communities; new experts came and many professionals left; many concepts, paradigms and methodologies were born, updated or became outdated; and the Geomodel conference itself and even the panorama of the city in which it takes place have changed. Only one thing remained unchanged — the place where we all meet. The city of Gelendzhik remains the host of the most representative, mature and significant forum of geologists and geophysicists of Russia. All of us understand that when we wish to learn about the life of the Russian geology and geophysics, about the advanced methods of research and new discoveries, when we want to maintain communication among experts of our country — all of us recognize that there is no other place and time but Gelendzhik in early September with the Geomodel conference.

On average, the number of the Geomodel conference participants amounts to 250-350 leading professionals and scientists representing more than 100 Russian and foreign companies and universities. As always the program of the upcoming conference will consist of about 150 oral and poster presentations. The program committee will spare no effort to ensure that presentations are interesting and most anticipated by a wide range of participating experts, and the organizing committee, as always, will provide magnificent conditions for carrying out the conference.

I look forward to seeing you at Geomodel 2013!
