Student Travel Grant applications are open! The application deadline is on Thursday 15 March 2012. The Student Affairs Committee will review the submissions and notification to all applicants - selected or rejected - will commence the week beginning 26 March 2012.
Please review the following travel grant important details [PDF 44kb] to better understand how EAGE delivers their grant funds to students and how students need to approach arranging their pre-registration, travel and accommodations.
All students are eligible to apply for an EAGE Travel Grant to attend the 74th annual EAGE Conference and Exhibition in Copenhagen, Denmark from 4-7 June 2012. The Travel Grants offer student support towards their participation in the Copenhagen Student Programme. Students accepted in the Copenhagen Student Poster Programme will be preferred recipients of the EAGE student Travel Grant.
Students must provide the following documents in order to apply
- Application Form (completed in full)
- Academic transcript from current University or Institute
- Letter of motivation explaining why you feel you deserve the grant
- Curriculum Vitae (up to date)
- Acceptance letter for a Copenhagen poster presentation in the Student Programme
*Please note: Preference will be given to students who submit an acceptance letter for a Copenhagen poster presentation in the Student programme only. Technical poster presenters can apply for PACE support.

*Please note that students accepted to receive the travel grant will receive an allocated amount of funds onsite during the conference in Copenhagen. EAGE therefore encourages students to purchase their EAGE registration, flight bookings and accommodations to attend the event with their own funds and onsite they will receive their allocated grant.
