This year we are proud to present our sixth European Student Lecture Tour being offered by: various instructors from CO2GeoNet, an European Network of Excellence with volunteers based throughout Europe.

The three hour lecture (including breaks) on 'Geological Storage of CO2' [PDF: 110 kb], the aim of this course is to draw conclusions from the last decades of research and to outline the future challenges to be faced along the road to industrial implementation.

An in-depth interview will be published in the September 2010 issue of EAGE's First Break Magazine.

The 2010/2011 SLT EU tour will start in September 2010 and will run until May 2011 including 50+ locations. This years lecturers will rotate amongst participating Universities throughout the tour lecturing to accommodate this quickly growing European tour and they are eager to give back to the European University student communities. EAGE requests that all students and staff interested in registering for FREE for the SLT EU, the calendar with SLT locations in Europe will be available soon.
