Come and watch the FIELD Challenge final in London! Renew your membership for 2013!

For the first time ever, the FIELD Challenge final will be open for spectators! 

26 University teams have been in the race to be selected as our next FIELD Challenge competitors. A team of highly esteemed professionals judged their submitted essays on the subject of ‘Cross-Disciplinary Research: The Way to the Future’.

Our selected competitors are:

  1. Pandit Deendayal Petroleum University
  2. Heriot Watt University
  3. University of Pune
  4. Norwegian University of Science and Technology
  5. The Petroleum Institute Abu Dhabi
  6. IFP School

 

These six teams will analyze and propose a FIELD development plan for a discovered hydrocarbon resource. Each university team will have the same sponsored dataset to work on. This year's dataset is sponsored by BP. Furthermore each team will receive financial contribution for three team members towards their travel and attendance at the Annual Conference in London. 


EAGE invites all students to come and watch this spectacle and to cheer for their favorite team during the finals on 10 June 2013 in London!

SLT Europe Paper Contest Geoscience Bootcamp postponed New Student Lecture Tours for 2012-2013

This year's Student Lecture Tour Europe comes with an internship to be won!

Dr. Bjorn Wygrala (Schlumberger) offers the students with the best paper about his SLT a one week internship at the Schlumberger office in Aachen, Germany.

Due to unforeseen developments, EAGE has to postpone the Boot Camp 2013 to 2014.
