Conference Evening

An extra ordinary garden with crystal chandeliers attached to a sky of greenery. A magical fountain, a hot-air balloon carrying an elephant or a unicorn playing the piano. A belle épeoque fair (end 19th century) and its hundred-years-old carousels. A little venice with its lagoon and baroque palace. This dream-like universe is real.

All registered full delegates and registered family members are invited to this wonderfull evening. This event will be held at Les Pavillons de Bercy – Musée des Arts Forains and offers a full programme with a variety of typical French food and entertainment. A perfect opportunity to relax, meet with colleagues and enjoy some food and drinks in an informal environment.

History of Les Pavillons de Bercy – Musée des Arts Forains

Les Pavillons de Bercy – Musée des Arts Forains is a place of culture that holds a museum at the heart of the Bercy neighbourhood in Paris. It comprises several ancient wine warehouses built by Gustave Eiffel’s apprentice and hosts Europe’s largest collection of performing arts objects, among them ancient fairground artefacts, theatre and music-hall objects and other curiosities. They were brought together and staged by Jean-Paul Favand who considers them all as actors.

The Musée des Arts Forains stands between cultural heritage and entertainment, where touching the objects and trying the rides are possible to enhance conviviality and daydream.

Food & Beverages
Food and drinks will be available both in the event rooms and in the outdoor gardens. Buffets and live cooking stations will cater to your every need and a variety of delicious food will be offered.

The conference evening promises to be an eventful night as there will be lots of entertainment. In the Musée des Arts Forains (the Museum of Fairground Art), the Salons Vénitiens (the Venetian Rooms) and Le Théâtre de Verdure (the Greenery Theatre), you can ride the carousels and all items can be touched. The Théâtre du Merveilleux (the Marvellous Theatre) offers you the chance to dance the night away while enjoying live music.
